The Aerospace Research Institute of Anna University has released a statement thanking actor Ajith for his contribution to the UAV project.
Thala Ajith was part of the research team of Anna University for the design and development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for Societal Applications (UAV), as the Chief Helicopter Test Pilot. The model, named Dhaksha won laurels at the international level in Australia and grabbed the spotlight at the recent Global Investors Meet in Chennai.
The statement read, “The centre is grateful for your timely and valuable contributions. We confirm that all your necessary roles and obligations for the specific project have been effectively and fully discharged, and the project having completed, the terms of your engagement are no longer applicable.”

They added, “We also would like to avail your services, in future at your convenience, on honorary basis”.
Ajith is currently enjoying the box office success with Viswasam and is all set to act in the remake of Hindi blockbuster Pink which will be directed by H. Vinoth.
