Actress Pooja Umashankar, who made her Tamil debut through the movie Jay Jay in 2003 was a mainstay in the industry for more than ten years and has given a various number of hits in Tamil, Malayalam and Sinhalese.
The ‘Ullam Ketkume’ actress then married her boyfriend, Prashan, who is a Sri Lankan model in a closed ceremony in 2016.
After the marriage, the actress didn’t take up many projects and was last seen in Kadavul Paathi Mirugam Paathi in Tamil and Sarigama in Sinhalese, a movie that won her best actress award.
