Netflix has announced a star studded anthology, that will be premiering
soon . This anthology titled Navarasa, will feature nine movies from nine
directors and will include top actors and music directors as well. This
anthology will be produced by director Mani Ratnam and Jayendra
Panchapakesan.
The stories are set to depict the nine rasas or expressions. This project
is an initiative that will help raise funds to assist those, in the film
industry who have been affected by the pandemic. The stories will be
directed by KV Anand, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Bejoy Nambiar,
Karthik Subbaraj, Halitha Shameem, Ponram, Karthick Naren, R
Rathindran Prasad, Arvind Swami.
Karthik Subbaraj in his twitter post said that he was happy to be a part of
the initiative and said that it was a dream come true to do a film under
Mani Ratnam production.
This anthology will see a stellar cast , with Actor Surya, Vijay Sethupathi
, Aishwarya Rajesh, Simha and Prakash Raj etc , who have signed up
to be a part of this cause. The music for this anthology will be by
industry greats like A.R Rahman , D Imman, Ghibran and Justin
Prabhakaran to name a few.
