Madhavan will be teaming up with his Vikram Vedha co-star once again and this time for Maara. The actor during his Instagram live recently said that he had completed 50% of the shoot for the film and now right after the lockdown, the other 50% will be completed in a single stretch.
The film is the Tamil remake of critically acclaimed Malayalam hit ‘Charlie’, which had Dulquer and Parvathy in the lead. Maara is touted to be a ‘pure romance drama’ that will see the Vikram Vedha pair together again on screen. Reports are that while Madhavan will be playing a man at 40s, Shraddha Srinath would be seen as a teenage girl crossing her 20s. The film will have music by Ghibran.
Pramod Films is bankrolling the Tamil remake which also has Sshivada Nair, stand up comedian Alexander Babu and Mouli. The shooting of the film was stalled through last year as Madhavan was busy with ‘Rocketry’ and ‘Silence’.
