Delhiprasad Deenadayalan is making his directorial debut with Tughlaq Durbar, which is touted to be an entertaining political drama. Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in a character with two different shades in the film. He plays a politician who uses his wits to climp up the ladder in politics. Tughlaq Durbar has Parthiban and Sathyaraj playing crucial roles. Raashi Khanna has been paired opposite Vijay Sethupathi for the second time (after Sanga Tamizhan) in the film, and Manjima Mohan is playing an important supporting role in this film.
Now, it has been officially confirmed that even before launching on an OTT platform, the film will be telecast on 10th September at 6.30pm in SUN TV & in NETFLIX on 11th September at 12.00 AM which happens to Vinayagar Chaturthi.
Interestingly, Vijay sethupathi will be having two releases this Vinayagar Chathurthi weekend. It has been announced that his film, Laabam, directed by the late filmmaker S.P.Jananathan will be hitting the big screen on September 9th. The social action drama, which has been produced by Vijay Sethupathi himself, will be the first star film to release on the big screen in Kollywood following the reopening of theatres across the state after the lockdown that was announced by the government on account of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
