When was the last time we saw Actor Ajith in a different genre movie other than action?

Guess, the actor has finally realized the same, and he is opting for a movie of different genre other than action.
It’s a known fact that Thala Ajith is teaming up with H. Vinoth next. The director of Saturanga Vettai and Theeran has reportedly approached the actor with a new story, but Ajith, who is desperate to come out of the action movies has adviced the director to go on with the remake of the Hindi blockbuster ‘Pink’ rather than trying something new right now.
On the acting front, Ajith’s next release is on Pongal 2019 and it’s Viswasam, the fourth movie from Ajith-Siva combo. The movie also stars the lady superstar Nayanthara.
Apart from acting, Ajith is the advisor for MIT students’ Daksha team which finished second in the Drone Olympics in Australia.
