The Thalapathy Vijay starrer Sarkar which released for this Diwali is one of the biggest grosser of the year, and it is a hattrick victory for Vijay-Murugadoss combo.
Though the producers of the movie, Sun pictures is yet to release the official report of the movie, there are a lot of reports and rumours that are making rounds on the internet saying that the movie has achieved 200 crores worldwide.
Talking about this in a recent interview to WE Talkies, Abirami Ramanathan revealed that the producers normally tell all these in order to promote the movie and nobody other than the theatre owners and the producers know the real collection of the movie. He also added that the highest grosser in Chennai was Bahubali, and the record is yet to be broken.
