On the birth anniversary of LTTE chief Velupillai Prabhakaran today, filmmaker Venkatesh Kumar G released the first look of the biopic of LTTE chief. Actor Bobby Simha plays the title role.
It is to be noted that Venkatesh Kumar’s first film Neelam, based on the Sri Lankan civil war, was banned by the Central Board of Film Certification. It claimed that the film might affect the relationship between Sri Lanka and India. He went to make films like Unakkul Naan and Light Man.
