The Forbes India recently revealed the richest celebrity list and guess who made it to the top five?
It’s none other than Deepika Padukone. With a career graph that has given every other actor in the industry a run for their money and a very eventful personal life as well in 2018, it is safe to say that Deepika had a great year. She started her year with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, Padmaavat that had domestic box office collection of more than Rs. 300 crores. And she ended the year on a high when she tied the knot with longtime beau Ranveer Singh in a dream wedding in Italy.
Forbes India annually lists down personalities with the highest net worth and Deepika made it to the fourth spot this year with a net worth of Rs. 112.8 crores. She is only after Salman Khan who tops the list for the third consecutive year, followed by Virat Kohli and Akshay Kumar. According to the 2017 estimate, Deepika and husband Ranveer’s combined worth are approximately Rs. 154 crores. The two actors are the face of several eminent brands that add to their net value.
Deepika is the only woman to be in the top ten this year with Alia Bhatt making it to the 12th spot in the list. Deepika is followed by formed Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
