In a welcome move, the Indian Railways has decided to grant a concession in railway passenger fare to Transgender (T) senior citizen aged 60 or above.
Sunil Udasi, Chief Public Relations Officer of the Central Railways announced the news today.
Railways offer concession ranging from 10% to 100% for different categories. The concession for Transgender Senior citizen will come into force from January 1, 2019.
