It’s the end of yet another excellent year for the cinema with some excellent movies with some good contents. With 2019 a few days away, here are the Tamil movies to watch out for:
Viswasam:
No doubts, this is one of the biggest and awaited releases. With Thala Ajith as the lead, this film marks his fourth collaboration with the director Shiva. The movie’s songs released a few days back and are already a super hit. Though the teaser of the movie is yet to be released, the advance booking for the movie is already started and is going on full flow. Viswasam is all set to hit the screens on 10th January.
The movie also stars Nayanthara among others and has music by D Imman.
Petta:
With no doubts, this Superstar Rajinikanth movie is already a hit. With a cast that includes Rajinikanth, Simran, Trisha, Vijay Sethupathi, Sasi Kumar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the movie has all the license to make us all excited. The songs by Anirudh is making us groove while the trailer showed the glimpse of ‘Vintage Superstar’ and made us all go weak on knees. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the movie is a sure shot winner and will hit the screens on January 10th, 2019.
Kolaiyuthir Kaalam:
The Lady Superstar Nayanthara will have two releases in January 2019. After Viswasam, Nayanthara will have a solo release and much like her recent movies, this is also a female-centred plot. Directed by Chakri Toleti of Unnaipol Oruvan fame, the movie is co-produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The movie is all set to release on 25th January 2019.
