The latest news around Kareena Kapoor is that the actress is asked by the Congress leaders to join them as a party candidate from Bhopal for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
The Congress leaders said that the fact that Kareena is the daughter-in-law of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi will also be advantageous for the actress. Bhopal is the birthplace of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, the father of actor Saif Ali Khan.
Now, the actress has given an open statement that she will not join politics and her only focus will be the movies.
The 38-year-old actor said in a statement, “There is no truth to these reports. I have not been approached for this whatsoever. My focus is and only will be movies”.
