It is a known fact that Director Shankar-Kamal Haasan combo is all set to make the sequel of the epic, Indian. While the actress Kajal Agarwal will play the lead, there are a few changes happening to the sequel. The most impactful change is that Anirudh will replace AR Rahman as the music director.
While this has created a lot of buzz in the industry as some started to even quote that there is a rift between the director and AR Rahman. Though the latter wished the team for the movie, the rumours didn’t stop.
Now, the music director has opened up in the recent interview, he said that this is not the first time that Shankar has opted for different music director. Say Anniyan and Nanban. So, this is not the first time. This is just a small gap and we will join hands soon, he said.
