Arjun Reddy, the 2017 cult classic is now being remade in several languages. The Tamil remake, Varmaa was supposed to release this summer and the Dhruvv Vikram starrer had the trailer released recently. Unfortunately, the producers E4 Entertainment were not happy with the final product and due to differences, the producers now have decided to start the movie from the scratch with a different director.
Though the hero of the movie, Dhruvv Vikram is retained, there will be a change in entire cast and crew.
A report suggests that the movie now might be directed by Gautham Menon. The director who is yet to release two of his biggest projects ‘Ennai Nokki Paayam Thota’ and ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ might take up this movie.
Incidentally, Dhruva Natchathiram stars Chiyaan Vikram himself as the hero.
If reports are to be believed, it will be interesting to see how the Gautham Menon directs the coming of age movie.
