Jai and Thalapthy Vijay acted together in Bhagavathi where Jai played the younger brother of Vijay whom he will save from the villain. The movie was a hit.
Actor Jai then got break in the year 2007 through the movie Chennai 600028. Jai played the role called Rockers Raghu in the film and he quickly became a household name in Tamil Nadu.
He then gave a few successful movies namely Engeyum Eppodhum, Saroja, Goa.
In a recent interview, the actor revealed that he became the hero because of the advice given to him by Vijay.
After Bagavathi, Jai seems to have approached many filmmakers for similar supporting roles, and that’s when Vijay told him not to do supporting roles and get stuck in an image trap.
Vijay told him to pursue a career as a hero. Jai said that the advice of Thalapathy is what changed his course of life.
