After the rumours of the palace split by The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry from Kate Middleton and Prince William which was later confirmed by Buckingham Palace, now Meghan Markle and Prince Harry want total independence from the Royal family.
The request was immediately rejected by Queen Elizabeth. A royal source commented on the request saying, “They wanted their household to be entirely independent of Buckingham Palace, but were told no. There is an institutional structure that doesn’t allow that kind of independence. The feeling is that it’s good to have the Sussexes under the jurisdiction of Buckingham Palace, so they can’t just go off and do their own thing”. Reports are that Prince Charles has also denied the request put forth by The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
