A case has been filed against the actress Pooja Gandhi and her friend who stayed in a five-star hotel and claimed to ran away without paying the bill.
It has been reported that Pooja and her friend recently stayed at a posh hotel in Bengaluru for a few days, and fled without paying a bill of over Rs 4 lakh.
While the actress was busy and didn’t respond to the calls, her friend gave a cheque that bounced back. The hotel management later filed a police complaint against the actress on charges of cheating.
Reportedly, the actress friend rushed to pay the remaining amount before it could become a big issue and later the actress called the case as “bogus”.
“I stayed at the hotel for a while during the pre-production of JD Chakravarthy’s movie and paid the service bill through my credit card. When I came to know about the false case, I contacted Bhaskar, general manager of the hotel, and he agreed that there was a miscommunication over the development. I know Menasinakai as he is a politician but I am nowhere connected with paying the bill of the hotel. It is a clear intention to tarnish my image,” she reportedly said.
