Alia Bhatt with some great releases to her name is now busy with Kalank, a multi-starrer set in the 1940s. The movie which is directed by Abhishek Varman, Karan (who has produced it) is the dream project of late Yash Johar. Kalank also stars Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit among others.
In a recent interview, Madhuri Dixit opened up about acting with Alia Bhatt. She said: “It was wonderful to work with Alia. She has amazing energy; she reminds me so much of myself. She’s so professional, always on time, doing her job well and just wants to finish and go home. Alia comes with absolutely no baggage and that’s a wonderful trait. What a brilliant actress she is! I don’t think we have seen someone as terrific as her in a long time. The choices she’s making are so powerful and meaningful. Alia has definitely changed the whole ball game.”
The actress Alia too is fond of Madhuri Dixit and she also spoke about the veteran actress.
Alia said: “Madhuri ma’am is so sweet. Before I had begun the shoot, I was extremely nervous. Standing in the same frame, even thinking of matching up to her is impossible. But believe me, she made it so easy for all of us. She is lovely and we had a fantastic time shooting together. There’s Ghar More Pardesiya where I’m dancing around her and she’s thankfully not dancing. Otherwise, I would have just died.”
