Deepika Padukone is back to acting after the break which she took after Padmavaat. Though the actress was seen in cameos in the interim, she didn’t take up a big project in a year or so.
Now, Deepika is not only back with acting, but she is also all set to debut as a producer with ‘Chhapaak’, a project very close to her heart, based on the acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal’s life.
As the intense shoot of the movie is keeping Deepika busy both mentally and physically, she revealed what is keeping her going.
In an interview, the actress told that it’s the English series Marvelous Mrs Maisel which she binge-watches right after her shoot is what keeps her going.
No doubts, the character of ‘Malti’ is emotionally demanding and a light-hearted series at this time can divert her mind and feel a little refreshed.
The movie is all set to release on January 10, 2020.
