Amitabh Bachchan has always shared an inseparable bond with his children, especially Abhishek Bachchan. In many interviews, Big B has stated that his son Abhishek Bachchan is his best friend.
Recently, the superstar took to Instagram to share a photo with Abhishek. The two are seen involved in a deep conversation in the picture.
More than the picture, it is Amitabh’s caption that is winning hearts on social media. He wrote, “When he not just wears your shoes but also shares the same number of chairs to sit on .. then he is not just a Son, but your dearest friend !!”
The picture was taken from the sets of the Tamil movie ‘Uyartha Manithan’ which will mark the debut of Amitabh Bachchan in Tamil cinema. The movie also stars Ramya Krishnan and SJ Suryah.
Though Abhishek shares a friendly bond with Big B, the actor has earlier revealed on Koffee With Karan that it was “very difficult” for him when Amitabh reviewed his performances.
“It’s very difficult. I have never said this, but it is. Because apart from being a co-star, a son, I’m also his biggest fan. And I genuinely say that. From the bottom of my heart, I believe that he is the greatest actor on earth,” he said.
Amitabh has always been “brutally honest” with him, Abhishek revealed. “My father has always treated me like a friend. His favourite line is, ‘I’m going to give it to you in the solar plexus.’ He has always been brutally honest with me”
