Deepika Padukone who plays an acid attack survivor in her new movie, Chhapaak has completely turned into Malti, the character that is inspired by the life story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.

The movie is reportedly being shot in various locations across Delhi and the most recent one was at Janpath. A Meghna Gulzar directorial, ‘Chhapaak’ also stars Vikrant Massey in a pivotal role and with this movie, Deepika Padukone will also turn a producer.
