With the World Cup selection just a few days away, The Indian Vice-Captain has picked up an injury during the IPL practice session.
The Mumbai Indians captain was practising ahead of their clash against Punjab on Tuesday and suddenly he lay flat on the ground with hands on his head in pain. After some basic treatment, Rohit Sharma reached the dressing room, limping.
The only “bright side” is that he was able to walk on his own, proving that the injury isn’t that bad.
An official announcement regarding the condition of his injury is yet to be revealed and he might miss today’s clash against Punjab.
