Recently, there were a lot of speculations out there regarding Anushka Sharma’s absence from Bollywood.
The ‘Band Baaja Bharat’ actress was last seen alongside Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif in ‘Zero’ which bombed at the Box Office but the actors’ performances were well appreciated.
Since then, the actress hasn’t signed any movies and that created rumours of her pregnancy. A lot of news reports went on to state that Anushka Sharma might quit Bollywood because of her pregnancy, and because she wants to spend time with Virat Kohli. However, it does appear that these reports were baseless.
“Anushka Sharma, who is married to the Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, has been the perfect partner supporting her husband’s milestones. Virat, too, has always gone out of his way for his beloved biwi. He is captaining India for the first time in a 50-over World Cup tournament and Anushka wants to be there to root for him and see him lift the prized trophy. But, what the duo is planning to do there is truly commendable. It just shows how supportive they are of one another and how they are actually each other’s better halves,” revealed a close source to a daily.
However, with the latest Twitter post, Anushka Sharma has shut the reports down.
