Priyanka Chopra’s brother Siddharth Chopra’s roka ceremony was one of the most celebrated events on the town and Priyanka Chopra alongside Nick Jonas attended the event.
A few days back, there were rumours regarding their wedding being called off as the Ishita deleted all the images from their Roka ceremony and she even added a picture saying that “new beginnings”.
Though the family denied about the wedding being called off, now, Madhu Chopra had only confirmed that the wedding is not happening anymore stating. “They (Siddharth and Ishita) have mutually called it off,” she now decided to further elaborate her statement with Spotboye saying, “My son Siddharth said he was not ready for marriage yet. He explained he needed more time.”
Well, this is not the first time Siddharth Chopra has called off his wedding. Back in 2014, he had celebrated his roka ceremony with his then-girlfriend Kanika Mathur and the two were all set to get married in Goa on February 2015. However, similarly, Sidharth’s wedding was suspiciously called off for reasons unknown. Later, sources close to the family were quoted saying, “Siddharth wants to concentrate on his career and his new venture (a pub-lounge in Pune). Pushing it ahead was a big decision for both the families. Priyanka is also not in the country at the moment and the wedding cannot take place without her.”
